Came back home today and found one of the heatsink sets and the thermal adhesives in the mail. Cleaned the surfaces, attached the heatsink, but still getting CPU3 killed during boot

/sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp and /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone1/temp do seem to be 3 or 4°C cooler though, but apparently not enough.

Got my OPI-Plus few days back and CPUs were constantly shutting down after heating up. I repurposed a heatsink from an old AGP video card and also used the spring loaded nylon standoffs which came with it. This heatsink is optimum in size and covers SOC and both the RAMs. You can also use the heatsinks from an old motherboard, usually found on north or south bridge chips.
Used heaksink coumpond and held the heatsink down with a thick copper wire running between the standoffs. Also, drilled some holes in the case just on top of heatsink to aid better air flow. The case is homemade, made of plexiglass and some hex nuts.

Please raport temp range, from idle to stress.Thanks.

I am getting range of 40C - 67C between idle and CPU stressed. Ambient room temperature is around 26C - 27C. I will keep monitoring this for few days, I dont want to add a fan as of now, but if the temperature is constantly in upper range, then I may have to make up my mind to add a small fan
