Hi all,

I have found an android for similar hardware (TRONFY X2) and I have tested it on my OPI PLUS (flashed with phoenix).

Android is working flawesly, absolute no issues.

Pluses:
ROOT
Android market
KODI with addons :-)
No chinese apps ;-)
2 launchers - one especially for multimedia
Very smooth operation.
WiFi is working fine
all 4 USB are working

Minuses:
SATA is not working

LAN not tested - I am using WiFi only.HDMI resolutions not tested - I am using old crappy PC monitor with HDMI adapter.

In my opinion is better than 'original' android - I can 'survive' with no SATA... ;-)

UPLOADED image for OrangePI-PC  Android_MMK_v1_OrangePI-PC.img.xz, download from Mega.

Slightly modified MMK_v1 for Tronfx X2
  • sys_config.fex replaced with OrangePI-PC's one
  • u-boot from another Tronfy X2 image
  • build.prop  modified to enable mass storage device on usb-otg
  • fstab.sun8i  modified to enable auto mount on all usb ports

- All 3 host USB ports & USB OTG works, tested with keyboard, mouse, wireless kbd/mouse, USB Flash drive, USB HD drive
- Ethernet works.
- HDMI audio works, analog audio (audio jack) works
- Power button works
- root ok, Google play ok
- resolutions 1080p & 720p
- Kodi 15.2 OK, Kodi 16.0 alpha ok.
- Antutu v5.7.1 score 23380 (with 1080p resolution)

If you have 1080p monitor, enable 1080p resolution in settings and adjust /system/build.prop, you'll get much better picture quality.
set: ro.hwc.sysrsl=10 for 1080p or 5 for 720pset: persist.sys.disp_density=200
You can set
persist.sys.disp_density between 160 and 240 to adjust DPI to your needs.

After first boot, the welcome screen (language selection) is quite unresponsive for couple of minutes, be patient.

Yes, I am unable to get this image to work with any VPN apps too, I had tried it with OpenVPN Con ...

I have fixed the VPN issue, you just need to download and install VPNdialogs.apk
I found a version here.
