No, I haven't bothered.I think Loboris knows there's a wifi issue, as every other post in his distributions thread seems to be "I can't get wifi working," "how do I get wifi working," etc.Somehow I missed that you based this distro on his kernel, but when you mentioned it my wifi issues made sense.

If I understood you correctly, you can update your existing DietPi installation by running:
dietpi-update
For new installations, DietPi will automatically update during 1st run.
