How about Kodi support? Is hardware accelerated video playback supported? Especially, I'm interested ...
Kodi is still on the list of jobs to do.
At the moment, its a case of lack of GPU/VPU driver for the h3. The information for this is scattered here there and everywhere. Not sure how far anyone else has got with them: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepibbsen/forum.php?mod=forumdisplay&fid=90&page=1
I've been trying to setup a cross compiler VM (debian 8) using the DietPi VM image. This would allow me to try it myself. However, cant for the life of me get the toolchains installed. Linux compiling is one of skills i'am lacking coming from a VS2008/13 C++ environment :(

For video accelaration, someone needs to make CedarX driver. GPU drivers alone won't cut it.

Oh yes, I was even asking here about CedarX, but there was no any response.

I just tried to install v102 on an OrangePi-PC, but I can't get my wifi (and thus internet) up and running.lsusb gives me this info for my wifi adapter:
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 7392.7811 Edimax Technology Co., Ltd EW-7811Un 802.11n Wireless Adapter
When I open the wifi settings it shows my network name followed by "0 Mbit | Strength 0%", which is weird because it finds the network, so I'd assume the signal is greater than 0%.Then it gives straight 0's for IP, Gateway, and Mask.My router is dumb and doesn't let me setup static IPs (thanks Verizon!), so I can't make those things line up between the OPi and the router manually.
When I try to connect to wifi, I get the following:
Failed to restart network.service: Unit network.service failed to load: No such file or directory.
Error for wireless request "Set Power Management" (8B2C) ;
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Operation not supported.
Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8b2a) ;
invalid arguement "MY NETWORK PASSWORD"
Internet Systems Consortium DHCP Client 4.3.1

DHCPDISCOVER on wlan0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 15
etc...
The network and password are correct, including correct case, so my thoughts are 1) unsupported wifi dongle, 2) OPi is trying to use the wrong key type (my main computer says it's WPA2 Personal), 3) weak signal from the router that could be remedied (temporarily) by using my iPhone's "hotspot" mode right next to the OPi, or 4) other?
Thanks!

What are the upgrade options from version 101 to version 102?
Is there a changelog?

Turns out we have the same Wifi adapter and chipset. I'll run it on my OPi and let you know what I find.
Heres the git ticket: https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/issues/131

Looks like a Firmware/Kernel issue with Loboris's image (which DietPi OPi runs on): https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/issues/131#issuecomment-161973565

Shoot, I was afraid of that.It's the same issue I've been having with the other Loboris releases.My poor OPi is fairly useless until I can get wifi up and running, or run an inconveniently long ethernet cable to the router.I'll keep waiting patiently for a fix.
Thanks, Fourdee!
