@jacer: In loboris' Ubuntu Vivid distro type the following in a terminal: sudo apt-get install gutenprint*

Don't forget the asterisk: this will install everything available regarding gutenprint.

I suppose it works in other distro's as well.

Good luck!

I wouldn't say it is essential, but the gutenprint drivers are in ubuntu repo, just install cups-drivers-gutenprint (and gimp-gutenprint if you want).

@loboris

i try the create_ap method on opi-pc with rt5370 stick and got this error.
is it due to driver or kernel issue?

I don't have this adapter, so I can't test it. Try different options described here.

Hi, loboris. What about the MT7601 wireless dongle? Can you make it work? Any idea to make OPI-PC work under Android? The official img has no notification center and status bar and recent apps button.

If the drivers for some devices are not in the kernel source, I can't do anything about it. If you can provide the sources which can be compiled on 3.4 kernel, I'll be happy to include them in the kernel.

For now I have no time to work on Android.

About x2go server, there is nothing specific to OrangePI. The client must be configured for access the desktop type used on OPI.
If you are using Pyhoca-GUI, just select XFCE or Mate desktop and for LXDE select for type "custom command" and in "custom command" field enter lxsession -s Lubuntu -e LXDE
I never had any problem with x2go on any of "minipc" or "real" servers on which I'm using it.
