Wondering if anyone on here have tried docker on Orange Pi?

I've saw some success on the Banana Pi
http://www.finklabs.org/articles/using-docker-on-banana-pi.html

Any heads up would be appreciate!

Docker on Orange PI (PC) is not available yet. Docker required kernel 3.8, Orange PI only support kernel 3.4

On Banana Pro I have kernel 3.4.x and Docker is running with some warnings but no instabilities as of yet.

Currently only Orange Pi A31, Orange Pi Mini A20 , Orange Pi A20
has Kernel 4.5.2 that support Docker.

Others H3 Orange Pis (like Orange Pi 2 H3, Orange Pi Plus H3, Orange Pi PC H3, Orange Pi One H3)
has Kernel 3.4.112 and doesn't support Docker.

Seems like someone achieved docker installation on an OPI One on a custom armbian build with kernel 4.6.0-rc1

I also waiting for docker but ... armbian with vanilla Kernel (4.x) isn't official supported, please read

especially
Important: Currently no thermal readouts and no throttling/cpufreq adjustments are implemented in mainline kernel. Therefore it's possible to permanently damage your H3 when running demanding workloads on it. Keep this in mind and think about reducing maximum clockspeed in u-boot (816 MHz max for example)

RancherOS  has " support for Docker 1.11, v0.5.0 includes the following changes: On our releases page you can now find an official Raspberry Pi image which is known to work on both Raspberry Pi 2 and 3". It runs smoothly on RPi 2 & RPi 3, even on a 2GB SD card.
Wonder if a RancherOS image for Orange Pi is in the making somewhere ...

Many OSes has docker support (ubuntu, debian etc.),
but in this case the problem is linux kernel. Even if you have latest RancherOS (or ubuntu, or something)
with old kernel (3.4) you cannot run docker.

Docker works fine with Armbian testing, kernel 4.6+ (self build only / no support):
