So, on which pin did you plug the cable to get the video, and where did you get it?
I was thinking o ...

If would be better for you to refer to the schematic. Since as information i have, if connecting from the pin to have output directly, it may not work. Maybe there would be still need a converter board. So sorry i have not test this before.

Sorry for delay, several days out.
Although I posted link to mega repository before (2017-1-4) the link inserted seems have been redirected so this is the link again but as text inside double quotes, copy it (without quotes) and paste in a new tab:

Anyway you also can check this post in the forum:

Some images for new link to download

(from OrangePi)

Then choose OrangePi zero at the left bar

You are right with pin 9 for the signal.
The 2nd should be connected to pin2 (Ground/GND)

OK I connected like that but I get no picture. I am using Armbian Linux (because I can not download sources from Google drive or baidu - bad link). I can connect to SSH, so the Pi is working. Do I have to change somehing in software?

So I did:

This is Lubuntu 14.04.1 LTS which I got from MEGA repository:
mega:///#F!m40jgBYQ!-uNiWmKhGoQUAqnWQvlr-w

Sadly, as told in other threads, I have a great overscan which don´t know how to avoid at present.
At last, as other 'zeroes', maybe we don`t have to take them for running linux desktops but as IoT advanced devices with a linux core base.
Both Armbians cores, Debian and Ubuntu works great btw. (although not one of them send video out, only working with ssh terminal)

In this case android settings let me adjust screen to 95% so avoid overscan:

This is android 4.4 from the above MEGA repository and following the advices @ http://www.orangepi.org/Docs/SDcardinstallation.html#Install_Android_OS_image
