I working on opencv implementation to orangepi pc, it possible to provide patch for fix suspend mode in camera because opencv have same problem like v4l2-ctl .....

I'm trying to write my own mini-fswebcam. A basic: fopen, fgets (1 raw frame), fclose. I've looked at fswebcam.c etc and I'm thinking I might have to "write" ?something? to the camera first. ???? but nothing jumps out.

Pointers please.

You could grab the raw image via V4l2 directly, YUV format. But in the final stage you will need to convert it to RGB to get some meaningfull image or display it with some YUV player.
I did just that but failed to convert it to RGB, something is still missing.

I grabbed the raw image (YUV420P) and converted with ImageMagic, something like this:

display -size 800x600 -depth 8 -sampling-factor 4:2:0 -colorspace RGB -interlace plane raw_image.yuv

Regarding ov5640, I reached to reverse pinouts, (using a reversed flex cable and a flex adapter extender board) but I can't find any correct information about patching sunxi-vfe or even correct Fex config.
Could you please share your Fex configuration and the patch for sunxi-vfe? pleasee?

OV5647 - based cameras don't work with Orange Pi, do they? The OPi - camera does not suit my needs, I was planning on getting http://www.waveshare.com/rpi-camera-h.htm , but alas. Also, where can I get the camera expansion board for OPi PC without buying the camera with it, too? I have no need for the OPi - camera, so it'd be pointless to buy it just to get the expansion.

Logitech C270 works with motion, ffmpeg, full resolution with 10-25fps, the video playback suffers a bit with motion blur. @1.1 Ghz
