I really think it has a good hardware... But it looks like they forgot the software...  :/

Hi,
If you want a dev board which runs a stable OS, you bought the wrong board

Unfortunately the software support of Xunlong sucks. None of their links for all their products are anywhere near stable.

It will take time untill a community based OS will be stable for the new OPI boards based on H5, A64 and RDA.
There are some stable distros out there for the H3 based boards, but all develpoed by private persons in their spare time. Like Armbian ;)

HDMI to DVI not always works. Avoid any HDMI-DVI adapter if you can.
Try to ssh and see what is working...  Additional info about your setup may help...

I for my part feel that I am going to have to vote the plaque, I have put everything that sounds or looks like A64 and nothing is 100% compatible, armbian probe, it works but I speak Spanish and I could not translate well, probe raspbian Comes in Chinese, I try to put it in Spanish but when I finish the translation for the console and reboot does not go up again and if it does not recognize the keyboard as it is written.

I tried the banana andrid 6 which is very nice and with good graphic image but the keyboard and mouse do not work [if someone can adapt this would be very good]

I've tried Fedora ....

I am desperate, I have more than a month that I received this plaque and in truth it only took away time.

Who has an android image with kodi, please share it

Friends,

This is how you can use pine64 image with OPI win plus and get  the  usb working. (i do not have OPI win. Those who have, plese help others  with your observation)
OPI have a USB hub, unlike other boards. The device tree file is different for OPI. fortunately there is little or no difference between Linux and Android kernels...

1) Download the ubuntu image and write it on sdcard using etcher or win32 disk imager.
2) Mount the sdcard in your windows or linux laptop/desktop and in the boot partition. search for the .dtb file.
3) once found, copy the file to your desktop.
4) Then write the Pine64 Android 7.0 image on the sdcard using etcher or win32 disk imager.
5) Mount the sdcard in your windows or linux laptop/desktop and in the boot partition. look for pine64 folder.
6) you will find three (more or less)  dtb files there. Move those files to some place on your desktop. Note down the names of files.
7) Copy the earlier dtb (from ubuntu image) file in pine64 folder on sdcard. ensure to make same number of copies, as that of original dtb files in it and ensure to rename the files as per the names of earlier files you moved.
8) Then insert the sdcard in OPI win plus and enjoy...

What doesnt work...

1) Network and bluetooth.   ( i am still checking how to get this sorted)
2) I havent tested the ethernet, but saw some error messages.

Any contribution from other to get this working is appreciated..
