Openelec is a Read-Only File System,  it would be nice if it could be opened (so we can create folde ...

The easiest way to change anything of this is probably to change build system and build your own image. For example, you can change password here: https://github.com/jernejsk/Open ... penELEC/options#L15 But as lymon said, many things can be done in /storage folder, especially configuration of the system.

Can anyone try to build latest image and test it on OPiPlus? I enabled NAND driver which is the first step in making booting from eMMC possible. I would like to get at least whole output of dmesg and "ls /dev". If there is a line in dmesg "[NAND]nand driver is disabled", be sure that latest script.bin is used.

Currently, there is none. You have to build it yourself. It's not hard

Yes, open FAQ and check questions number 9. Please note that this takes long time for first build.

Resuming:
1) First of all i'll clone the git
2) than i'll build with
PROJECT=H3 DEVICE=xxx ARCH=arm scripts/clean u-boot
(on ubuntu)
3) i'll tell you the output of  dmesg and "ls /dev"

that's correct?

Not exactly, second step must be:
  1. PROJECT=H3 DEVICE=xxx ARCH=arm make image
Copy code

your second step is for building images for different boards AFTER "make image". Any suggestions to make this more clear in FAQ?

EDIT: make sure that you replace "xxx" with your board name, OPiPlus

Ok, so anyone who is interested in this. I mixed up NAND and eMMC. There is clear distinction. I will try to enable it as soon as I get Plus board.
