Oh, will retry it a bit later. The 16GB is fine (first boot takes 2mins maximum) BTW.

EDIT: Ok, tried again... This time it took 24minutes to complete the first boot, but now I do indeed have a /storage partition of 57.3GB.

If you mean where the movie skips back to an eariler segment, I've got that too, "with or without" the sub titles "on". I've already named it "Daja Vue", and there's no resoluition been offered yet. It not only occours on Movies. It also effects several (but, not all) IPTV streams (Israel Live, IPTV streams is one I've found, that remains uneffected, so far).
So, I doubt the fault lies in the OPI-PC or the image we're using. Rather in the latest stream delivery method. So, it should occouring on other types of units, we'll have to see.
I'm using the same board & image OPI-PC > OpenELEC-H3.arm-7.0-devel-20160806192003-r22886-g5828aec-opipc.img

It seems that adsp.biquad.filters caused the crash. Disable it, test and report back.

Actually, please test subtitles issue with all addons disabled. Does this happen with multiple types of subtitles, e.g. .txt, .srt, .smi, ... ?

I tested today in android kodi without interruptions I think it's the codecs cedarx
