Ethernet not working (not even lights flickering) on Debian Jessie.
I'm doubting if i'm using the right script.bin & uImage.
I used the OPI-PLUS while using an Orange Pi Plus 2.

I really need a fix for this, I'm building a NAS, but i'm certainly not going to connect it on Wi-Fi!

How do these images manage the voltage regulator on the Opi One?

Thanks for all your efforts :-)

You need to use correct script.bin file for your screen. For example I am using FullHD plasma TV za ...

Issue was LOW VOLTAGE
even if you use rated 5v adapters, they are sometimes 4.8 or something and the fckling pie is very sensitive to low voltage, i used a 12v adapter with buck converter set to 5.08 volts, works perfectly!

just display is zoomed a bit, trying to solve it.

Hello, I get my orange pi board. Unfortunately after spending days in the forum, setting up several linux host systems. I understand that I should ask some simple questions to get started.

1- The getting started links that everybody talks about are dead most of the time.
2- The method explained at  http://www.orangepi.org/Docs/Building.html#Get_a_cross_toolchain does not work for my system, Ubuntu 16.04. make returns error:
fatal error: linux/compiler-gcc5.h: No such file or directory.
If it is about kernel version etc. Can somebody direct me to a preferred version of ubuntu? Or a workaround?
3- If it is recommended to use linaro toolchain, is there a step by step guide to, install the toolchain, get the necessary packages and build a simple hello world app.
4- I work with several boards(gumtix, beagleboard etc) before and never feel helpless before.

I search the forum, many similar questions asked but most the answers refer to the previous posts, which are also referring dead links.

Thanks for your time.
