You have to order a RTL8188EUS wifi adapter. Only one other usb adapter works other than that, there's another thread that tells you. The only ones that work, automatically activate wifi in the settings an scan for SSIDs. Save yourself the trouble and pay 10-15 dollars on Amazon, or wherever. It's going to be impossible to somehow with little expertise, write hardware drivers for the Android platform.

I bought Comfast CF-WU810N with RTL8188EUS chip, but it wont work. I tried several Android images with no success.
I installed USB Device Info app. Under "Android" tab it report VID: 0bda, PID: 0fa2. Under "Linux" tab it report VID: 0bda, PID: 8179; Product name: 802.11n NIC
Anyone know on which VID and PID the WiFi is working?

I have one of those, I bought it from ebay, anyway the description was that is for RPi and chip is RTL8188EUS, but when I receive it found that chip is RTL8188CUS, so be careful
