No on board LEDs

New Orange Pi PC out of the box. After power is applied I have green and amber LEDs on the RJ45 connector but no LEDs on the board. I have tried reseating the power supply and also tried a different power supply all together with the same issue. I also tried using the reset button. I ised 2 differnt SD cards with different Operating Systems thinking maybe that could be an issue as well. Anything I might be missing before filing a warranty claim?

I am very unimpressed with OrangePi.
My board is definitely dead and the contact via Aliexpress treats you like an idiot.
I have burned new images onto new class 10 TF cards (scandisk make), I use a 5V 5A power supply. I use a proper HDMI monitor not a vga to hdmi monitor (Why the hell would I?) Even looking via serial console there's nothing happening and are they interested ? No.
They waited right until a couple of hours before the dispute time ended to post their unacceptable reply.
The only LED is the red power one. There are no LEDs alight on the network socket either so it clearly isn't running.
As I write reviews for several UK user groups this is going to be posted to many potential buyers as a warning to NOT buy an orangepi.

I have the same issue as well.  The system does not work, it won't start up.  I've submitted a dispute to get a refund or get a replacement.  But if there is a solution I'd prefer to cancel that dispute.

I have it the same problem - powered off module, then cannot start with anything.
My first thing it was that i have a defective  plate, but not ! after some hours, I try 4 different power source, not working.
  after that, i take power from my hobby adjustable source and now it's start.
so, that switching power source need to be with a very good quality and filtering of high frequency, otherwise, somehow, the OPI is blocked.
  if you have some batteries at 5v, is a good alternative too.

Are you guys sure you have a working SD-card with an OrangePi2 image? The only way I can get the network-LEDs to light up but not the onboard LED, is by inserting no SD-card at all, or an invalid one (like the original raspbian instead of an OrangePi2 build).
I tried this with a number of different power supplies. Good, bad and terrible quality. They all seem to work fine. Onboard red LED (D8) is lighting up about a second after powering up when a valid image is available.
I haven't seen any activity on the other onboard LED (D7), don't know what it's for either...

Good try but another wasted evening. I carefully prepared an SD card (class 10 16 gig known good), formatted, loaded up the Raspbian image from the Orange Pi site EXACTLY as per instructions, put it in the Orange Pi, turned it on - absolutely NO difference. The two ethernet lights are on steady, the board is taking 100ma, and that is that, no other board lights, nothing on the display (an expensive Dell monitor which works with PCs and Raspberry Pi without any issue. The power supply is 5v capable of 3 amps output. Pressing the "on" button on the Orange Pi PC makes no difference at all. Two other people on my forums have come back to me in the last couple of days with the same issue. The board is DEAD.

Can't get anyone, live help doesn't work, this is not good enough.

Does anyone have any contact emails that work?

The only way to see what is going on is to attach the serial cable and watch the boot proces.

Couple of times I've had the similar situation and this is what helped:
- disconnect the power adapter.
- pull - push the sd card several times
- connect the power

You can try with one of my basic images, it is small download and you can burn the image fast (install as instructed).

- The button on OPI-PC (under Linux) does nothing.

Does anyone know if the Power LED should be lit when power is applied even if a TF card isn't installed? Seems like I should have a light no matter what when power is applied. I had my claim denied and I was directed to a troubleshooting site for a no boot issue. Nobody in that thread ever mentions not having a power LED so it seams like that doesn't apply to my situation.
