this happens to you while writing the android image to the microSD card using Phoenix, correct?

If so, I experienced same problem - Phoenix returned an error at various stages during the write process - tried number of cards and readers.
Somehow I realized the problem was with the combination of laptop, OS and cards/adapter I am using and Phoenix.

This was happening regardless of which Android image(s) I tried to write onto an SD card.

Out of frustration, I tried retry the write process one after another (aka brute force) until once I got successful write, the Android image booted up successfully. I was trying to flash the h3droid image by the way.

Later on tried with another laptop and all worked like charm on a first attempt.

Anyway, this phoenix thing does not sound like a best piece of a reliable software.

If your pi zero is the one with the 8gb mmc you have to boot to the android without an sd card, phoe ...

Is there any boot mode settings to switch between sd to emmc.?

if orange pi zero is the one without hdmi port, then you might need fel-installer: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... 5&highlight=fel

h3droid image is plain dump (use etcher, win32imager, dd, whatever you like). phoenixcard requires specific, proprietary format. also, often it's about bad power (using phone charger or thin cables), overheating or bad writes
