Hello all,

I want to use the Orange pi in my business as an IOT engine. The pi price is important for the final price to the clients.

Having to buy dedicated propriety power supply is a big obstacle for me.
I have bought Orange pi and I want to power it up in a similar way as the Raspberry pi - Micro USB port.

How can I solder the power pins in the micro USB port to the power connector port?

Is there any problem with this solution?

Thank you,

Michael

OPI ZERZO works by USB power supply.
Is it useless in OPI ZERO?

I have Orange pi lite.
I want to use the micro-usb to power the board up.

How can I do that?

OK. I have looked at the schematics and noticed that you are in the process of removing power current limiters (SY6280AAC) from the board.

I want to weld an diode in SY6280AAC U11 between the "Out" 5 to the "In" 1 so it will bypass this IC in case the mini USB drive the power to the board.

Is it reasonable or should I expect melt-down?
