I bought Opi one last month and can not find stable OpenElec image for this. GUI of Kodi is still unstable and it's restarted or freezed. I tried OpenELEC-H3.arm-7.0-devel-20160212221753; 20160221210515; 0160224231152.
I couldn't get 20160224231152 to boot - seemed like an issue with initialisation of the USB port which was inactive, but hard to know for sure. I'm looking at the script.bin for this to check the USB settings. But I did manage to get the latest image for the PC - 20160224223632 - to work with the One with no issues, so its worth giving this a go. Sounds like you managed to boot ok from the 20160224231152 image though which I couldn't which is strange.
Many thx, i will try change SD card, HDMI and power....i have 2 boards with similar problems (system is OK by ssh, but GUI is unstable)..
I don't have original power, but i made USB to 3,5mm cable... It's more universal, but maybe unrelliable :-)
Same Problem with me, Changed adaptor, Cable, SD CARD, Lubuntu and armbian works perfectly but not OpenElec.
Youtube addon is also not working on openelec
OpenELEC is known that causes probles with some SD cards which can be used without any problems with other systems. Change SD card. If it doesn't help attach here log from serial port (UART pins).
YT plugin stopped working recently indeed. Do you have any solution?
I have 3 sd cards, two of them are kingston class 4 and one sandisk class 10 and OpenELEC works with all of them. If this doesn't work, I really don't know what to do.
Same problem here. Opi One Freezes at start screen. No USB (mouse does'nt respond), no Ethernet (can´t see the device on a DHCP network).
Both images tested with no luck: 20160309212418 and 20160309212704.
I'm using a class 4 8GB SD card. Testing right now the slow SD card version. I'll report the results.
