@loboris:  I copied the proper uImage and script.bin in your vivid image and got that to boot fine.  Then I did the same thing with my own trusty build and it didn't work.  Then I even copied the uImage and script.bin from YOUR vivid over to my trusty and it still doesn't work.  That's why I think its a problem with init.  I've noticed that on trusty /sbin/init is a executable but on vivid its a sym link to /lib/systemd/systemd.  So clearly some large changes were made here.  I'm going to install ubuntu-mate 15.04 in a 64 bit VM and see if I can create a vivid image using your git repos...

It does not matter if /sbin/init is a symlink (in most distribution it is).
The script is tested on Ubuntu and Debian 64bit, on what machine are you trying to run it?
All my Debian/ubuntu images are created with that script, there should be no problem.

Do not work two of the three USB on the Board Orange PC. try OrangePI_Ubuntu_vivid_Mate.img and OrangePI_Jessie_Xfce

You are right, the built root fs cannot be booted. I'll check what could be wrong. Thanks for the warning.

Can you include dvb-t drivers to modules and make a linux source package so we can build kernel modules (like zfs on linux) directly on the board? Thanks

I'll include available dvb modules. Kernel sources are available on GitHub.

there is a Ubuntu-Mate for the RaspberryPi2 available here:
https://ubuntu-mate.org/raspberry-pi/
Wifi and Bluetooth work; just in case it helps to get  wifi to work on the Orangepi.
