I also have problems with kswapd daemon which needs 100% cpu, I'm using ubuntu mini with the latest kernel version. This problem appears when there aren't enought memory and the system tries to use my swap partion. I think it is fixed in new kernel versions. I would be really happy if loboris could help as.

I have a temporally solutions, I wrote a shell script which drops caches every 5 minutes. It works fine, but I really dont like it.

echo 3 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches

You can monitor your memory usage with htop.

I asked Loboris already for the Mali400. Sadly it's not directly on his radar for reasons which are understandable. For me it's like buying a car with a disabled turbo charger. Of course I can ride with the car without problems, but the turbo is the extra '+'. And if it's there, I want to be able to use it! Simply squeeze the last drop of functionality out of it. That's not different for my OPI+.

However, if the Mali400 comes to life under Linux, it will definitely boost the sales of the orange pi boards: the lack of Mali400 Linux support is one of the main reasons while a lot of people move over to other solutions.

So all we can do for the moment is trying to get it to work (like me), stalk Steven and / or the manufacturer. Last but not least: keep on praying that at least someone gets it working... Also refer to this: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepibbsen/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=53&page=6#pid3785. I still have issues with it, but it's always worth a try...

The ordered OV5640 wasn't shipped immediately, so after some thinking I've decided to cancel the order.
Not because the order delay, but I found it to expensive for my needs (I need more than 10 pieces), about 18 US$, camera+inverting cable/connector.
I'm using the OPI camera now, and it is good enough for my needs (and 3* cheaper).
I'll try to look at OV5640 drivers anyway.

Hello, loboris. Is it possible to make gutenprint work on the H3 boards? It is essentilal for the printers.

@jacer: In loboris' Ubuntu Vivid distro type the following in a terminal: sudo apt-get install gutenprint*

Don't forget the asterisk: this will install everything available regarding gutenprint.

I suppose it works in other distro's as well.

I wouldn't say it is essential, but the gutenprint drivers are in ubuntu repo, just install cups-drivers-gutenprint (and gimp-gutenprint if you want).

i try the create_ap method on opi-pc with rt5370 stick and got this error.
is it due to driver or kernel issue?
