V3 works for me without any problems on OrangePI PC. Ethernet works as well.

@giaur500:
It is strange, maybe we have another board revision or something, I don't know.
As I said in my case It starts but hangs on first run for a long time.
Somebody said that after 30 minutes it finally ends, but not in my case,
I wait more then 40 minuts and nothing happends (my sdcard is really fast).

Yes, i can confirm that the Pi PC version acts different with different sd cards. best experience i made with a old samsung 8gb class 4.
there is no need for a class 10 or even higher specs like U1 to U3..
BTW, this sd card biz seems for me like a huge grey market, i tested a couple who promised up to 80mb/sec....not even close..
most of them all fake and with max 15 to 20 mb/sec...

Maybe your sdcard reader and usb 2.0 don't allow higher speed

@Jannyun
OPI_android_linuxinst.tar.gz - works on Orange PI PC (ethernet works, only 1 usb),

Oh, yeah!
OPI_android_linuxinst.tar.gz (md5sum 1b834e44069ca7e36846ea44dad41089) is good!
Ethernet works, USB one port (external hub will help).
I can not check GUI and video playback right now, just hope.
(OrangePI PC board ver 1.2)

@loboris
In installation script is a little overprotection...
I have russian localization of my linux. When i run fdisk, the output is in russian:
# fdisk -l /dev/sda
Диск /dev/sda: 640.1 Гб, 640135028736 байт
255 головок, 63 секторов/треков, 77825 цилиндров, всего 1250263728 секторов
Units = секторы of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Размер сектора (логического/физического): 512 байт / 512 байт
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Идентификатор диска: 0x62ca62ca
Устр-во Загр     Начало       Конец       Блоки   Id  Система
/dev/sda1            2048    52670463    26334208   83  Linux
/dev/sda2        52670464    56881151     2105344   82  Linux своп / Solaris
...
In your script "create_android_sdcard" there is a check:
    _sdok=`fdisk -l $sdcard  2> /dev/null | grep Disk`
    if [ "$_sdok" = "" ]; then
            echo "${sdcard} NOT FOUND !, Exiting."
            exit 1
    fi
and in my case there is no english word "Disk", but russian word "Диск".
Easiest solution for users - to use linux Live CD with english interface, Knoppix for example.
Good solution - to add in start of your script line LANG=en

And thank you for firmwares!

Hello

If ethernet doesn't work on your Orange PI PC it means that the reason (rather) is the memory card.

I spent too much time to find the reason:

i used a brand usb3 and a extreme sandisk adapter, who came with my sd cards...
depends on where you are located, buddy, let me tell you, if asia...most are all fake.this is a multi billion dollar biz!! in a little handbag you can carry around a few million dollars...
i saw them in hong kong/shenzen...they sell 64gb/128gb/ even 512gb.. micro sd cards in a bulk, 100/pieces, each around 2 dollar.the packages as you wish...from sandisk extreme...to kingston, samsung, toshiba ultra super duppa...
everything there.and we all know the prices from the origin ones...

How did you prepare this OPI_android_linuxinst.tar.gz ?
How can I prepare this kind of installation for other android images (for example zidoo) ?

I finally managed to flash the image. For some reason PhoenixCard kept on crashing. Basically with all card readers and all cards. Then I decided to try one last time and it worked

Is there actually any way to get all the USB ports working on the Orangepi PC? While I do not need it right now, it would be nice to have.
