Hi, any ideas how to use IR port on android?
What app? I don`t see IR device in hardware description.

I havn't try ir in my android Orange, so I can't help you more

any easy-to-use app confirmed working with the default Android image?

EDIT: i've just found that the official image comes preconfigured for some NEC-protocol remote.
Accidentally some keycodes overlap with my LG TV remote, so when i press the 'volume down' button the video playback skip forward.
Since this is annoying I'm going to cover the IR receiver until i find a way to configure it.
The reception seems pretty good btw!
