This is a debian based raspberry pi 2 distro I have just ported to the orange pi PC
I only have an orange pi pc so I have not tested it on other models.
Tested:
It boots, wired network is working, ssh is working.
Screen works with an HDMI to DVI cable and a PC monitor
Installer (has a menu to choose what you want to install)
BUGS:
1) cpu temp shows incorrectly (FIXED)
2) during the initial setup it shows Raspberry Pi 1 (512MB)
This gets fixed upon the next reboot
3)cpus easily get on full throttle (with the subsequent rise in temperature)
This was observed running a minecraft server. The workaround was to set the governor to powersave without any noticeable performance degrading.
whatever rocks your boat...
If you feel curious, you could replace /etc/apt/sources.list on dietpi with the one from your Lubuntu and check how ti goes.
The DietPi experience/magic , as far as I can tell is done by scripts running under /DietPi and probably work fine with ubuntu repos.
If you decide to try, please share your experience with us
Kodi will install, but without hardware accelaration the CPU will have to do all the job, which means it is very doubtfull that it can do HD without stuttering, but please share your impressions (as I only run it headless)
I'm sorry to say, I haven't quite got the hang of Mega access yet. so if anyone does list it, to say like anglefire, please make note of it's location here.
I thought it was a recipe for weight loss.
What a crap! You need to subscribe to "another" MEGA account....ridiculous.
If you realy want to share something than put it on a site who is accessible for every one!

No one said, that "little orphan Orange PI", would have an easy childhood. She's already running down the street (naked), & her software hasn't caught up yet.
