resize partition

Hi, first message from a really beginner in Linux World (and OrangePI Plus too); my request for help is:
I've prepared a 64GB SD card loading Lubuntu 09, now my card has a 4GB partition and an unallocated space of 56 GB, how can I extend the 4 GB partition to fill all available space (or at least a bigger space than original 4GB)?
I've tried with GParted but it gives error and restore previous partition table.

I also need help with partition resize because update of Lubuntu is not finishing (not enough space, 32 gb card).

which distro did you use? If you are using loboris`s distro then press CTRL+ALT+T and input commands below, otherwise just download the script from his thread. Need to input the password after first and the last command line. The default is orangepi b.t.w..

sudo fs_resize
y
sudo reboot

Have you tried "raspi-config"? Type:

sudo raspi-config

Copy code

Then, choose Option 1: Expand Filesystem.

That is what I did on Raspbian for Raspberry PI.
