Hello all,

New user.

Two problems:

1. Installed Android on Opi plus, boots ok. Have problem with color of display, color is not right, no white. Seems blue is missing. Tried different HDMI cable, even created separate boot card with Android no diffrence, problem still persists. Do you think I have a bad board or software is corrupted? My HDMI monitor works fine with other PCs I have. I can attach photo if that would help.

2. Thought I would try installing Raspian to see if that would clear up problem. However, Opi plus still boots into Android even though msdc card has image of Raspian. Does Android remain in bios of Opi plus and has to be deleted somehow?

Thanks for your help and patience.

Update. Resolved problem 1. found out about the HDCP issue. OPi works fine with an HDMI projector.  Ordered a HDMI splitter hopes this fixes problem for DVI monitor.

When using a Raspberry Pi with a monitor, users sometimes encounter issues with colors not displaying correctly, which can be frustrating, especially when specific hues are crucial for their work or projects. For instance, if someone is working on a design project where the Personality color green needs to be accurately represented, any discrepancies in color output can severely impact the quality and integrity of the project. This issue can stem from various factors, such as incorrect configuration settings, faulty cables, or the need for updates in the Pi's software or firmware. Ensuring that the display settings are properly calibrated and that all connections are secure can often resolve these problems, allowing the monitor to render colors correctly and maintain the intended visual quality.

The Opi Plus should boot from the SD card with the Raspian image if it's set up correctly. Make sure the SD card is properly formatted and that the Raspian image was written contexto correctly.
