The Orange Pi Zero is a great board for embedding programming (baremetal, no Linux).

As the WiFi chip is closed source, it cannot be used. Therefore it would be great if there can be a Zero Light (cheaper ;-) without the WiFi chip.

Thanks, Arjan

The Orange Pi One does not have SPI flash. The SPI0 (used for SPI flash boot) is populated on the GPIO header. Hence the SPI1 is missing and therefore is the One not usable.
