Does anybody know about successful builds of Ubuntu bionic or cosmic on H6 based boards?
Is there any idea how to build any of them?

Or Debian Stretch?

Go for Armbian. They have images with Bionic and Stretch.

Hi,
can you please link me the Armbian version that works for Orange Pi 3 2GB?
Or any other fully working Debian image for it?

As images that I've tested from OrangePi site, none of them work, I can't update, upgrade or install new packages from repository.

Thanks a lot!

There is none. Support is still being written.
You can give dev builds a shot: https://dl.armbian.com/orangepi3/

I've tested (I think) Ubuntu version and it works fine!
Primarily I wanted to run MotionEye on it, which I've sucessfully installed with some problems while installing all dependencies etc.
