Earlier I created this topic Cannot boot my Orange PI Plus2E
The cause of the problem was the power supply problem: the board works ok with original 3A adapter.

It would not be a problem, but I plan to use the board with battery, so what autonomous power scheme is enough for the board?
Where I can find working power schemes? Maybe you can re recommend me some buck converters or some else?
The initial power source will be pack of 4 18650 batteries.

I already tried it with this converter https://www.aliexpress.com/item/ ... .9042311.0.0.vFd4uC
But I had boot problems, so it is not enough for Orange Pi Plus 2E.

this device is not for me, because my battery pack output is about 16-17V (pack of 4 18650 elements)
I just also tried this device
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/ ... .9042311.0.0.lQjCXU

it has 5A (!) output

but I could not boot my Orange Pi Plus 2E with it too
so now my board can work only with the original 3A wall adapter

WTF??)

Does anyone powered Orange Pi Plus 2E with a battery?

Finally I figured out the cause of the issue: it was original USB power cable
So the Orange Pi Plus 2E works ok when powering via GPIO when using any proper buck converter as well as with original wall adapter via barrel connector.
But it does not work properly from any power source when using original USB-to-Barrel cable and barrel connector.

It depends on where you plug in that cable.

I have a bunch of those cheap cables and can power up to 7 boards from one source - this HUB.

I would not trust specs on cheap Chinese buck converters. Just on first look it does not seems to be able to deliver 5A on USB, more around 1-2A.

If you want this to work without inventing the wheel again put batteries in parallel and use recommended PCB.
