This is on Orange Pi One (Armbian legacy). When I connect a powered hub, power off the OPi and try to power on again by reconnecting the power jack, the OPi does not turn on. It MAY turn on in 1 of the 10 trials thou.

Is this a known issue? Is it HW related?

OPi's: 3 Zero, 4 One, 1 Plus, 1 PC2, 1 cam
OPi on transit: 1 One, 1 2G-IOT, 1 2G IOT Touch LCD
3 RPi 3, 1 RPi 2, 3 RPi cam

I haven't had luck getting the Pi One to boot when plugging in a powered USB Hub to the USB port.  I think I have even corrupted a SD card or two attempting it.  I had luck once by plugging the power port and the USB hub power at the same time.  It ran like that for a good 2-3 hours. The next time I attempted it the card got corrupted again.

I just realized I was vague in my OP...

I was powering the OPi from a regular adapter. But I used an additional external powered hub on the USB side to get more USB ports...
