I am using OrangePi One with small 6$ orange Pi camera (PC /Pi One/PC Plus/Plus2e Camera with wide-angle lens for Orange Pi)
Refer for camera details: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Orange-Pi-Open-source-IP-Camera-with-wide-angle-lens-Smart-Home-Control-Device-for-PC/1553371_32652476606.html

Here are the stes I am doing

1. Download image Armbian_5.14_Orangefromhttp://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-one/pione_Ubuntu_xenial_3.4.112 and get ready with SD card image.

2. Installed motion sudo apt-get install motion
3. Installed cheese sudo apt-get install chees
4. Modified the motion.config file to turnoff localhost
stream_localhost off
changed the port to 8085
5.
sudo modprobe gc2035
sudo modprobe vfe_v4l2

6. sudo motion to start the motion

After all this when I type myIPAddress::8085 it says:
Unable to open video device
Error capturing first image

I see above two error messages alternatively.

Please share how to fix above issue.

Thanks and Regards,
Manish Kakra

I had used motioneye on my orange pi one .
if you want Ipcamera with web panel and full control it over internet or ip use bellow  instructions :

https://github.com/ccrisan/motioneye/wiki/Install-On-Raspbian

my problem in this motioneye is that armbian lite does not have my webcam driver.
In armbian desktop every thing is fine.

if you have any question about motioneye Reply this post.

about 95% of camera will work with Armbian drivers.I hope you will have no problem with that.
the motioneye user name is : "admin" wihout any password , you can use your own password for it.
if you wnat to change motion eye port form 8765 to 80 edit /etc/motioneye/motioneye.conf with command "sudo nano /etc/motioneye/motioneye.conf" and find port change it form 8765 to 80 , and save it (use CTRL + x and Y Enter) then restart motion eye by command "systemctl restart motioneye" or reboot OPI.
POINT : just connect webcame befor booting armbian (after installing motioneye).

There are some troubleshoots to solve your problem:

Make sure you have enabled motion detection or Reconfigure

Updating security camera firmware or firmware of IP camera to the latest version could fix
potential bugs that have been meddling with the motion detection.

Update Monitoring Software or apps. It's play a role in motion capture and motion alert triggers
since you need them to enable motion detection and trigger in the first place, or not for some of
                them trigger motion by default.

Change Cameras Placement or Pointing Angle.

Hope this will help you.
