Hi all, Tokka here
i'm curious to try orange pi performances, i like to experiment, and i have lots of ideas..but not always the needed skill
With some friends we have lot of projects concerning voip (we have a remote pbx too), and one of the test we want to do is to try OP call/videocall features.
I would try to test too the os i made for cubieboard on OP: it has full-hd video support, and xbmc (semi)working (it owrks with full-hd, but not with mp3, i have to recompile it ).
I have a lot of question too about OP, but this is not the right 3d
Hope to test it asap, it looks very interesting

Hi there Tokka, its nice to see someone else on here, I only joined a day before you and I think I was the first one, do you have a board yet or still waiting? I have one on order and just waiting for it to turn up at the moment, I was hoping to get help on this forum but it looks like there is nothing going on yet, it is a long time since I last did any programming so trying to use this board should be fun.
the project I have it for is a 3d printer/laser cutter/engraver that I am in the process of building at the moment so what are you going to use the board for?

Hi Poppy (and hi Steven too ;) ), i like to do experiments with linux, so i go where the wind drive me
With some friends we was talking about voip use of the OP, and most part of theme have just tryied with raspi, and may be they wanna try something more powerfull.
Personally i have a cubieboard wich i use as media server, but the a10 cpu has not much power to transcode videos (overall full-hd), but with some workaround it works well...and i think on the OP it may runs flawless
May be we can have a good cooperation with OP staff
