HDMI Audio only works on some monitors (Orangepi Zero 2 kernel 5.16)

I'm working with an OrangePi Zero 2.

With older kernels (eg 4.9) the HDMI audio works with any monitor I have to test (BenQ EZCAP pass through  to BenQ, Sony TV etc)

With the 5.16 kernel I'm using to get panfrost OpenGL support it will only work with the BenQ monitor, not the TV or the EZCAP .

Anyone encountered similar and have a solution?

No errors are reported as far as Pulse is concerned the audio is playing, but it's silent.

Hi, seems same problem with OPI Zero 3. No audio signal from HDMI but all settings seems ok (alsa, pulse).
