Taking another look at your screenshots I don't think any of those are Android Tv apps. Pretty muc ...

My OPI5B has 128gb of EMMC. This is the second flash I've done with this version of Android TV.

Tomorrow an NVME that I bought for a PC will arrive here, maybe I'll have the big job of installing and testing it, but I doubt that's it. The image works very well, it just has this bug of reaching the edges using the remote control.

Could you please take 2 minutes to help me and even clarify for mo123 whether this is a problem with the EMMC or the image?

The 6.1 kernel is for Linux but for Android it is of no use for now.
Other manufacturers already r ...

Android is Linux based though, so there is bound to be impovements all round.

Whether this means that Orange i themselves will do anymore is of course unknown and seemingly unlikely based upon their long abandonment of Android.

But I would have though that porting new versions fro one SBC to another, based on the same SOC, could become more accessible.

Just a heads up for those that prefer vanilla Android.

Orange Pi have posted a new version 1.0.5 of their Android 12 image.

I won't say any more as I don't want to clutter this thread with other stuff and will begin a new thread.

Haha, I disassembled my OPI5B to put the nvme in but it doesn't have an input, haha, I'm glad I hadn't bought it for it...

Any predictions for a new version? Did you manage to fix that bug to access the buttons at the top and bottom with the controller?

Hey guys, I struggle to get the image running on my NVME drive.

I downloaded the image, it is called update.img.

Using etcher, I get an error message that the image is not bootable.

I have the original Orange Pi 5.

Any suggestions?

If you are writing direct to the NVME drive whist it is in the Pi 5, then you will need to use the RKDevTool.exe.

Instructions for flashing are in the official manua, as well as this video

https://youtu.be/Bet_plMIS30

Ensure that you are downloaing the NVME image.
