Hello all
I have an Orange Pi Zero Plus board, with Armbian installed.
I need to add a pause - let's say 30 seconds - in the boot process, but I can't figure out how.

Problem is that every now and then power is cut for a while; when it comes back, the Orange Pi boots up so fast that the network is not ready yet (the router takes longer to boot up), and it does not work correctly.

I've read somewehere that this can done by adding a 'boot_delay=n' line in /boot/config.txt, however I don't have this file.
Furthermore, in there there's a maximum of 10 seconds.

Anybody can help?

TIA

To delay the boot phase, you can modify the boot configuration settings. On Windows, use the System Configuration tool  cheap real diamond rings to adjust the startup delay. On Linux, edit the GRUB bootloader configuration file and set a timeout value. Ensure you follow the appropriate steps for your specific operating system.

Hi, I have a similar problem with my Orange Pi Zero. I need to delay the boot phase for a few seconds, because I have some peripherals that need to initialize before the system starts. I tried to edit the /boot/armbianEnv.txt file and add a bootdelay parameter, but it didn’t work. Do you have any suggestions on how to do that? Thanks for your help.

Best regards,
Mia from CodeIT

As I said, my OS is Armbian.

You appear not to have read the question; your message does not answer it, and furthermore there's a link to a website selling diamond rings.
To be honest, this seems to be like spam to me. I will report the message.
