cat /etc/release
H3.OPiPC.arm-devel-20160316180934-r22216-gf5dad3a

cpu temp
cat /sys/devices/virtual/thermal/thermal_zone1/temp
72

then i did the revert
git revert 80fd33d8da7f5016edf655a7f5101ad6af5ebc65
and build
PROJECT=H3 DEVICE=OPiPC ARCH=arm make image

put SYSTEM* and KERNEL* in update and reboot

cat /etc/release
H3.OPiPC.arm-devel-20160316191638-r22219-g7b21fec

cpu temp
cat /sys/devices/virtual/thermal/thermal_zone1/temp
70

and this is strange.. still at 70°C even with the revert

Do you have any sample video (e.g. few megs) to demonstrate this? After more testing, I can say th ...

Could it be due to refresh rate? I did same other tests and on image 2016/02/03 video plays smoother I thing, but there is fix 60 Hz RR, tested video has 23,976.

You can test this by changing refresh rate in video settings. Be aware that you can select only between refresh rates which are supported in both devices, OPi and display.

I know, but in image from 03.02.16 I cannot change this setting, there is fixed 60 Hz and adjust display RR does not work.

I know your probably already aware of it, but, this issue seems to reoccur with Kodi on a fairly regular basis. LibRTMP apparently may need to be updated again, or soon, to assist in streaming video sources. And, here's a link to help http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Update_librtmp

While using the latest build, I am getting a small stutter every few minutes. While decoding very movement-intense video it gets even worse..I know I shouldn't expect perfect video playback on a 13$ device, but curious if anyone is still working on this  ?
