I have not used for a long time OpenELEC on Opi One. It seems that it works correctly. It works net ...

You can't change definition for s_cir0 pin. It is where it is, because it's using special HW support for IR and that is only on one pin.

About low memory - this is because of kswapd0 issue workaround. 200MB of RAM is reserved for video decoding. If you don't watch 4K videos, you can decrease it to around 170MB (not sure). If you want to see whole 512 MB of memory, then compile kernel with CONFIG_CMA=y. I would say that you would have issue with kswapd0 process (it would put one core to 100%) then.

updated to OpenELEC-H3.arm-7.0-devel-20160209211353-r22052-gf608afb but after 2days of use again it's stuck on boot.

Folk,

please test latest git if channel switching bug is solved. It works for me. If you encounter  ...

Just a heads up.. wanted to try your latest image (r22052-gf608afb) to test the channel switching bug, but there are no PVR addons included in the image on mega.nz...at least for the OPI-PC there aren't any.
No problem though...I'll just compile the addons myself

> Is there anyone who would like to help me to develop proper kodi support?

I'd like to help if possible, but what kind of help are you looking for exactly ?

Permanently? It would be a great if you could provide boot log taken from serial interface. Anyway, it happens sometimes that my OPi2 freezes during boot but reboot always helps. I'm really not sure why. Power supply or sd card may be the reason.

I didn't build those images and also PVR plugins doesn't change so often, so usually you can use old ones, but not always. There is no difference at all between plugins for different boards.

About this fix - while it usually should work, I forgot to add few critical sections, so update will definetly come.

I would like programming help the most, but also some advices around ALSA would be very welcome (why some formats doesn't work even if they are supported and work with other programs, etc.)

Okay thanks for the answer.
Well then i have to wait until everything is more stable.

You can always add specific patches to patches/kodi folder.

About donations - thanks, I didn't yet think about them. I take a quick look how to create a donation link but it seems that paypal is not happy with it if you don't have business account...

Kind of a strange segway here, I had a wierd error occour, where none of my tv guide apps would show the correct of for that matter any programming information. And I found the problem was the "time server" was missing.
So, if anyone finds their time reset back to 1969 while using to OpenELEC , goto > system >OpenELEC chose >Network  >NPT Servers >Timeserver #1,
and add " time-c.nist.gov ". Then reboot OpenELEC and your system will again return to the correct time & date. of course the server I listed covers the eastern standard time zone, for other US servers refer to: http://tf.nist.gov/tf-cgi/server ... /tf-cgi/servers.cgi[/url] I'm sure there's other sites that cover this type information. but this is the first I was able to fine.

I know, but as it says in the "latest prebuilt images" topic that the images are with PVR addons included, I just thought I'd give you (or whoever puts those images there) a heads up that they aren't, before people start panicking

Anyway ... I tested the latest image with the HTS pvr addon (v2.2.12) and direct channel switching still doesn't work for me unfortunately..
when changing channels, audio continues for a few seconds (don't think this was the case with earlier versions) and after a while Kodi hangs. ( No crashlog is created)

> I would like programming help the most, but also some advices around ALSA would be very welcome

My programming skills are average at best and I'm not really an ALSA guru either, so I'm not sure if I can be of much help then.
NB.. the raspberryPi openelec version seems to have dropped ALSA a long time ago ...maybe they had similar problems/issues ?
