Hi, i'm having a question regarding using wireless-sticks.
you told me on github those devices aren't made for wireless, so the only real stable connection can be reached via LAN.
I have an older Raspberry PI A, which i use as wireless-client. this wireless adapter reaches 150mbits fully on the raspberry pi, without problems (rates about 30-40 MBit/s).
i havent tested this stick on the "orange pi" already but another wireless stick (with long cord, i should test with shorter one).
so i could not understand your statement.
i will test the same adapter on the orangepi, but the alfa stick (rtl8187) runs very bad on the orangepi.
i have a good feeling about using an tp-link (atheros chipset) stick, like on my raspberry pi.
who has expericance with wireless sticks?
