That confirms it. You need a newer version of plugin.

PVR addons (and some other addons as well) are no longer included with the newer versions of Kodi.
You will need to compile these addons yourself, using this method: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... &fromuid=154314

...you can find (the name of) the addons that can be manually compiled in the  folder  /packages/mediacenter/kodi-binary-addons/

If you can not compile yourself, maybe someone else on here can compile the addons you need for you. (ask)

When loading Kodi in Windows or Android system PVR Client is always part of the system. Why would  in Openelec differently? We are not all experts.

There are differences in building Kodi for different operating systems. We are not the right people to ask that kind of questions. Try OpenELEC or Kodi forum.

I can tell you that newer versions of Android don't allow to load binary library (PVR addons are binary library) from untrusted sources. That means that on newer versions of Android, you are allowed using only build-in PVR addons. Of course Android provider may change settings to allow that, but any reputable company won't change that.

If you want, we can help you with building standard addons like hts or iptv simple. Others you must compile yourself or ask author of the addon. You can also wait that Kodi 16 is released in a few weeks. Then most of addon providers will have Kodi 16 compatible addons.

Yesterday compile OpenELEC , I wanted to try if you recognize my wifi usb, and effectively this works now perfectly. but what I have noticed is that from time to time, approximately every 10 minutes, the colors of the image are altered completely, has happened in the main menus, and playing video in different formats.
Everything starts showing green screen for one second and then the picture becomes clear, the black looks like blue.
When this occurs in the main menus soon turns to the color correction and image goes well when playing video happens not always corrects itself, ever taking the menu of video information is correct but does not always happen.

The previous times I've compiled OpenELEC this has not happened.

Today I was able to do couple of tests to confirm the dram_clk in the script .bin.

I can confirm that just changing the dram_clk to 624Mhz  solves the wifi instability issues.

With the current settings the idle cpu usage fluctuated around 5-10% where as cpu usage during playback fluctuated around 2-3% and idle temperature fluctuated arounzd 73-76C and temperature during playback fluctuated around 53-56C(at room ambient around 25-26C).  So OPI is lot more efficient at playing video than while gpu rendering and this behaviour confirms with many other dedicated hw video decoding platforms including RPi and Intel boards.

For those who want to test the lowered dram clock I have updated those at the below location.

Jernej: Could you please update the dram_clk to 624Mhz in the fex files  for all platforms. Probably we can decide on the governor change after further testing and use case analysis.

Done! I didn't really check if it works. Can you do that?

Probably I should also update U-Boot to the latest version which also sets dram clock to 624 MHz instead of 672 MHz.
