OPI2/Mini2/OPI plus Linux sdk just were released

Don't get very far building from the sdk using the "how to" anyway.  The u-boot sets faills early with cannot execute the  binary pctools/linux/mod_update/script: Exec format error.  

The project I am working on requires only 3 things right now, display, audio and ethernet.  The current release is useless without audio and rebuilding would loose ethernet making that useless to me also.
Of all the low cost sbc's available the orange seems to be the best hardware choice.  But it is the only one I have been unable to get to the hardware to work.

Very disappointing.

binary pctools/linux/mod_update/script: is a 32bit binary, command does not work on 64bit distro until you install multilib (lib32).
forgot to mention.
But you need only to change the kernel, leave u-boot and boot0 as it is.
Try to replace only the kernel on the lubuntu distro

But didn't you say if I built a kernel, ethernet would not work.  There is no point in wasting the time building a kernel if I know ethernet will not work.  Am I missing something?

Oh, and I am a 32 bit os, yet the binary pctools/linux/mod_update/script errors:
