OPI ONE Support Alert

Hi folks, I am new in the group, just got my OPI-one and loioking for a way to lboot it with any operating syste and found it really hard to get any information about it on this site or anywhere else.

I want to use it as a media server for my kids, to be able to play video (youtube) and music (streaming or from a local USB key).

I made a mistake ordering the unit, I thought it already has a Infrared on it, but I can live wihtout it, but having a hard time using the unit when there are no documentation avilable.

I will share whatever I manage to get together with the others when I get it working.

I would really like to have Andoid on it, but I am afraid getting it to work is beyond my knowledge of UNIX so, I would rather go for something lighter like Lubuntu or Rasbian instead.

I had setup my Orange Pi One as a media box, and I have no regret so far. I had set it up as Android tv box and installed kodi in it.

I had this for my Orange Pi One.

Remember that to burn android image into sd card, you need a special tool [Phoneix card],  [i think this is a tutorial on that, I didn't read thru and follow, for I had already known the steps]

And my advise, if your Orange Pi One cannot boot up, likely you have a faulty card.

You could try Ubuntu Mate for the OPi PC (which is apparently the same as the OPi One as far as images go).
Have included a howto as an attachment for the OPi PC/One with a monitor.
The headless attachment is a way to test the OPi without needing a monitor.

Hi, I buy Opi ONE and its work with Armbian/Opi One version.

I love Orange Pi and products but! first is comming the product and 2. software.
This is not  good idea.

Plase first android and debian can be ready?
