There is no such thing as hdmi_clock_change_limit on OrangePi. I guess you found it on some Raspberry Pi specific page? Audio drivers are not in good shape. Nevertheless there are some updates which are not merged yet. I probably will try them next week.

IR on OPi is only a receiver.

Edit: Btw this is from Pc Plus FEX, might not be available on all boards

Edited by andreq at 2016-10-21 11:29

Isn't ther a IR TX config in the FEX file ?

;----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
;ir tx--- infra remote configuration
;----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[cir]
ir_used                 = 1
ir_tx                   = portH07<2><default><default><default>

Wouldn't that main PH07 is pluged into some kind of IR TX, or we could use PH07 pin with a IR TX?
I don't need such a thing, but maybe you could dig into that gforcecro.

Yeah, I thought that too at first, but I couldn't compile the driver. Then I checked datasheet and find out that transmitter doesn't exist.

I had some spare time at work and took a look into the datasheet too, as jernej said, I don't think there's any IR TX on there

I think you could look into using the GPIO with some script and a basic circuit to get there tho. I remember doing such 10+ yrs ago on Windows with LIRC and a parallel port, its probably still doable today

Ok, I've reproduced freeze after starting Kodi as you proposed and now crashes are visible in consol ...

Today I took time and analyzed log you provided. I think I discovered why Kodi crashed. Please test this update (available for 14 days): https://transfer.sh/skHqn/openel ... r23108-g97f809b.tar

If all goes well, I will soon prepare new images.

I've tested it and now kodi crash every channel switch, got info "Segmentation fault (core dumped)", but no dump is generated in kodi directory. Also system does not freeze, I can start kodi again.
Console logs: https://paste.ubuntu.com/23370871/
Core dumps at lines 324 and 525.

Weird. I currently don't have OPi at hand, so I will do more thorough tests and fixes tomorrow.
