Well, maybe is a RAM speed issue. I will lower it to 624 MHz. This reportedly helps with some boards and there isn't really any performance drop. I will upload test update soon.

I lowered RAM frequency, but it seems that OPiPC already had lower setting. Lately, there were some stability fixes, so you can still test it with this update file, which will be available for 14 days: https://transfer.sh/nYgrp/openel ... r23105-g638c9dd.tar

Please test it and report.

I'm experiencing some stability issues too. It just hangs (with sound loop stumbled) and I need to disconnect power, device is not even accesible via network.

I can only suspect kernel panic(?) But I how to capture any logs? I will also try above build. But issue is weird, sometimes it's ok and stable for a week, sometimes it hangs everyday. Especially, it starts to hang if connect, then disconnect some usb devices - it starts to work unstable even after reboot
It could be also hardware issue, but what kind?

P.S. temperature is  usually 60-75 °C

Hi jernej,

were there any RAM frequency changes in OPPlus?
I also see some random freezes which never happen on old SW - but in my case I've also installed PVR IPTV Simple Client immediately after update (now uninstalled it and I'm waiting for crash, for now there is none)
In my case Kodi gui freeze in video buffering at 0% and it's not responsive, no crash dump.
If I'll see it again without Simple IPTV I'll try to get some logs. Cpu temp: 37*C

Serial cable is your friend. First issue:
  1. echo 8 > /proc/sys/kernel/printk
Copy code

and then just log everything from serial console to some file. It shouldn't spam too much.

BTW: Chip is rated for 125°C, so I think temperature has nothing to do with it.

Yes, I changed it for Plus. Please try above update. If it's still not ok, please try to capture dmesg same way as I described to giaur500

Well, for me after update same thing happens, i even tried to lower ram speed to 550, same thing too. What's interesting, few months ago armbian with gui was working with no problems.

Then it is not RAM issue. Do you have serial cable? Please test it as described above. That way we can quickly find kernel issue.
