tested version r21674:

cedarx-divx5 : ok (several different resolutions tested)
cedarx-xvid: ok (several different resolutions tested)
cedarx-h264: ok (no transparent stripes anymore, several different resolutions tested)
cedarx-h265: ok (no green stripes anymore, several different resolutions tested)
ff-mpeg2video: ok

only problem I have now is with cedarx-mpeg2
Image is overly stretched for some reason  and only shows the top half of the image (stretched to full screen)
I can't correct it with using custom settings....the lower half will still be missing
overscan on/off doesn't make a difference

edit: checked with version r21672 and here it works fine.
So something broke with the latest changes in the cedarx-mpeg2 codec..

I just tried this on my OPI-PC and have no audio.  I have read through this whole thread and a lot of it is over my head. I went into settings and enabled audio pass-through and it didn't make a difference.  I tried an AVI, an MP4, and an MP3 that worked fine with 5 different Android IMGs and Lubuntu from the Orange Pi resource page.  Am I doing something wrong?

Hi, i just copied openelec to my OpiPC, all works fine except wifi dongle.

Wifi is not available in configuration menu. Does anyone tried to connect via wifi?
#lsusb
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 0bda:8176 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8188CUS 802.11n WLAN Adapter
#dmesg | grep rtl
[   11.273503] RTL871X: rtl8189es v4.3.0.4_11916.20140724_COB
[   15.688073] rtl8192cu driver version=v4.0.2_9000.20130911
[   15.914637] usbcore: registered new interface driver rtl8192cu
[   17.968539] rtl8192cu_hal_init in 590ms

I dont have any idea how to enable wifi dongle.

Which build do you use? I have Orange Pi 2 which has wifi and it works. I'm not familiar with OPiPC, probably only some changes in fex file would be needed.

@CGarces,
I'm not sure if using this code will do you any good. You need different kernel, differen bootloader, different kernel settings, different CedarX binary library (although I think that only libVE.so must be changed).

I've tested as soon as i saw your post. Thank you for your work.

Here is the report with downlo ...

I fixed VC1 playback. However it seems that this file is still too heavy for the system so frame rate is lower than it needs to be.

Can you build image for yourself? It gets a bit annoying to upload new image after every change

Thanks. I found it. Half way down the menu is "Enable passthrough (o)" and below it in grey is "Passthrough output device  sndhdmi,HDMI" so I thought that was what I wanted. I never thought to click on the first item and get a menu.
