Great, one down, two to go

Can you test following for lircd bug:
1. Build IR driver as a module: CONFIG_IR_SUNXI=m
2. add modprobe command before lircd in autostart.sh
3. after resume, please do rmmod & modprobe again
4. check if command works

Quick update:

1) the command doesn't help at all with the USB hub bug.

If you found your USB to serial adapter and you are interested in debugging suspend issues, then you could check these advices how to get some useful info about the problem: https://01.org/blogs/rzhang/2015 ... nd/hibernate-issues

Yup, just found the USB>serial adapter, will test more tomorrow :-)

EDIT: USB>serial adapter is dead. It isn't recognized (at all, it just give an error of device descriptor fail) by any of my computers so I assume it just doesn't work anymore. So will only the the modprobe thing tomorrow.

Latest emmc_install.sh seems to be broken. Image built yesterday. Script formated SD card instead of Flash and generated errors:
Creating partition table
/usr/bin/emmc_install.sh: line 44: parted: Input/output error
Creating first partition
/usr/bin/emmc_install.sh: line 47: parted: Input/output error

I noticed that device name of Flash and SD card has swapped, changing "DISK=/dev/mmcblk0" to "DISK=/dev/mmcblk1" fixed the issue and image was installed into flash

I really didn't test this script with new kernel, but that would make sense. Now I wonder how the old script even worked. I will test it tomorrow and fix it. It seems that I could simplify it a bit.

Could you please test this scenario:
1. Install OpenELEC on eMMC (you already did)
2. Power off system
3. Insert non bootable SD card inside
4. Power on system
5. Does it boot properly?

No, it doesn't boot when non bootable SD card is inside. Nothing happens - blank screen and led is off.

Then I will have to devise a test in U-Boot if SD card is present and U-Boot booted from eMMC. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately I've got no experience with U-Boot so can only support with test.

I have only OPi2, but please read this issue thread: https://github.com/jernejsk/OpenELEC-OPi2/iss ...

Hello Jernej,

Thank you for your answer. In fact I use wirelless keyboard and it boots fine without USB dongle. But still none of images after 22/03/2106 boots with USB dongle.

While you guys are busy working on the OS, in general, I think the OS might be working on you. I've noticed on the last two releases, the Os is not wanting to remember and retain user settings. EI: setting items to the task bar, like iVue under programs, or ccloud under video.  Also, it tends to run to mama, on "time setting", all the way back to, jan, 31,1969, even after installing "time-c.nist.gov", under Network in the Config file. it might be something you could look into soon I hope.
