Hi, loboris. Just got the news that zhao_steven, he would donate $1000 for anyone who can make the GPU and VPU drivers working on OPI-PC/OPI-PLUS. He also promised he will donate you $1000 next week for your hard work so far. Can you also port the Openwrt and Raspbian for OPI-PC and Plus? Thank you for your work.

It would be great to have GPU and VPU drivers working on OPI boards, but it is time consuming work, I hope the promised reward will help.
I can spend very little time on it (I have my job and other projects I'm working on).

Porting raspbian is easy, but I don't see much point in it. It is just Debian distribution with some RaspberryPI hardware specific modification which does not work on other boards.

OpenWrt does not support Allwinner H3 SoCs. Maybe I'll try it later.

OpenSuse image will be ready today.

I have working ArchLinux installation, I'm doing some configuration and tuning, will be ready soon.

I have an openwrt running on my opi PC. Everything I need is working. But, I got an annoying watchdog alarm all the time, keep telling about wdt_restart. I just copy the ext filesystem part from bananapi, with the boot loader from other opi image.

Insert this into /etc/rc.local before exit 0:

  1. echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs
  2. dmesg -n 1
Copy code
