I received sata/power cable yesterday.
(like this :http://www.aliexpress.com/item/R ... 2010308.4.20.oXhpii)
I've tried to connect to orange pi plus, It does not seem to be working .
I tested both ext3 and ext4 partition. I used Raspbian and Debian Server.
I also connected sata data cable and power cable separately.
but, useless.....T.T...

Here is part of dmesg

[   12.461140] scsi 1:0:0:0: Direct-Access     USB TO I DE/SATA Device   0009 PQ: 0 ANSI: 0

Is this Kenel problem or sata port was broken?
If it is the case that SATA port problem, I have to request a replacement.

Is anybody successful sata port connected to pi plus?

I also tested it on android.
It doesn't work too.
Clearly, It's H/W problem.
I have to ask to change it.
Thanks for your reply~~~

Speaking generally. SATA support in stock Android is usually more by accident not by default.

What about some other hard drive and different power supply?

I've solved this problem partially.
I purchased Sata cable that is compatible cubie board.
The cubie sata cable is connected to the power had been opposed to each other .(+, - reversed)
That's my problem.
I pulled out connecter and reverse it.
Now My Sata cable works like cham....^.^
but Independent connection of the power supply and the data is still not working.
