Orange pi pc, out of sale or out of stock?

Anybody knows what happends with orange pi pc? Has orange pi One killed this board?

Hi Steven,

Is the 1.2 ver OPI-PC PCB stock fully sold out?

If that is the case could you please consider the below corrections/enhancements to the OPI-PC pcb:

1. Add ESD protection diodes to the HDMI. I see that it is there in other Orange Pi's including the cheapest OPI-ONE but omitted from OPI-PC.

2. Isolate the RTC backup battery line and  bring it as a Through-the-Hole so that a Dupont connector can be soldered by interested users. Wasting a functioning RTC in SoC like this is too bad since we already have everything including the 32khz crystal on board.

Thanks for the update Steven, glad to hear you'll have more in stock.  I really love the OrangePi PC, I have started moving over a bunch of VM's to them and they really shine.  I'll be looking forward to getting 6 more on Feb 15th.  

Do you think you'll ever have the OrangePi PC with 2gb ram?

Personally, I wish one or another manufacturer stepped up and stopped trying to emulate Raspberry Pi; stop putting USB-ports and stuff behind an internal USB-hub because you're just hurting their bandwidth with that, let users use external hubs if they feel there ain't enough ports, and stop with the stupidity with a 40-pin GPIO-header when e.g. the H3 has a shitload more pins to offer -- route out all the available pins on the board, even if your product won't any longer be "Raspberry Pi - compatible!"

What, they stopped selling it? Why? The PC is the best-performing board of them all as far as I can see: all the other boards have their USB-ports tied to an internal USB-hub, meaning that all the USB-ports share the 480Mbps bandwidth, whereas the PC doesn't use an internal hub and each port has full 480Mbps bandwidth to themselves.

12 hrs back there were only 56 in stock.
now there is "Sorry, this item is no longer available!" message.
I don't think they will manufacture it again, they must be spending their resources for OPI one & OPI LITE.
whenever i see they are back in stock again, i will definitely buy them.
I know they are buggy, but the cost/performance for simple projects is unbeatable.

Maybe if we complained about this decision , the will make this board again. It has only been on sale since August, I think that who is developing based on it are the most affected , and if you put on sale a product , youhave the responsibility to support this for a more than a few months.

I sure hope that Shenzhen Xunlong Software has not killed the Orange Pi PC.  It is a great board and a great price.

Why they would kill a board that is probably the best sales board, since the Cubueboard A10/A20 ?

Could it be that they lost money on the OPi PC by pricing it too low?
Hopefully there will be another production run for this board as it has been good so far - I have purchased and received 3 of them.
Was going to recommend to friends when the AliExpress web siite stopped selling it today.
Hopefully the support for the OPi One and the upcoming OPi Lite will be better on the OrangePi.org website with regard to working images and links to these images.

The PC was their best selling board @aliexpress so i don't think they are going to kill it , they are just making some One's and lite's and then they are going to swith back to sell the pc , but that could take 6 months plus. Who knows ? Nobody know a thing........
