Case for base Orange Pi Zero board (no expansion board)

So, I bought a kit with case and expansion board.
I didn't really need the expansion board but I wanted a case.
I thought the case would be lonely without the expansion board.
However, I had trouble with the expansion board, when I plugged it in my Orange Pi Zero won't boot from Orange Pi distro of Debian server.
No problem, expansion board in the bin BUT now I have a box half empty.
Why is there no case for Orange Pi Zero board on its lonesome?

I just wanted a small node-red server that takes up as little room as possible.

The current case can be half the volume.

Make sense?  
You are intimating the current box without the extender board is needed for cooling of the main board alone.

Taking your logic, the current box is too small for the main board plus extender because it only just tightly houses the main board plus the extender.  Especially since the extender board blocks the slots, there is definitately no science in the box.

So you are likely assuming there was any science in the current box design I take it?  

It is a box.

It has some slots in it.  

Presumeably a smaller box with some slots in it would be as scientific.
