@derrickyee81
There is no older version.
The v0.9 is the first version.

Tried the image on H3-board with internal PHY and:
  1. [    7.406952] gmac0: probed
  2. [    7.409982] gmac0 gmac0: eth0: eth0: PHY ID 00000000 at 0 IRQ poll (gmac0-0:00)
  3. [    7.428325] gmac0 gmac0: eth0: Initialize hardware error
Copy code

This image can not work on opi2 or opi2-mini.
The only thing you can try is to write u-boot with the opi2 configuration on SD-card.
Thi should enable ethernet on opi2

OK, tried myself

Now I have this on my H3-board with internal PHY:
  1. [    8.627368] gmac0: probed
  2. [    8.630459] gmac0 gmac0: eth0: eth0: PHY ID 00441400 at 0 IRQ poll (gmac0-0:00)
  3. [   12.630231] PHY: gmac0-0:00 - Link is Up - 100/Full
  4. [   18.941300] gmac0: probed
  5. [   18.944364] gmac0 gmac0: eth0: eth0: PHY ID 00441400 at 0 IRQ poll (gmac0-0:00)
  6. [   18.965424] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0: link is not ready
  7. [   22.940237] PHY: gmac0-0:00 - Link is Up - 100/Full
Copy code

I can attach u-boot for opi2/opi2-mini or others H3-boards with internal PHY if you need it.

I hope that you know how to write it to the SD-card.

If it works, i would reccomend to build a new kernel or at least try to use it with lubuntu kernel+modules
This debian kernel have issues, instead of poweroff reboot ecc.
I dont have opi2 nor opi2-mini can not test it.

I put my Orange pi Plus away waiting for the Ubuntu server. Forgot about it for a wile. Forgot were I put it too. I found it and downloaded the orangepi-plus-debian-server-card-v0.9.img.xz used Win32 Disk Imager and put it on a 32GB SD card. Hooked a RS232 up to it and plug it in with Ethernet too.

It starts by saying:

HELLO! BOOT0 is starting!
boot0 version : 4.0.0

Then it just stay at this line:

[   38.094055] Restarting Linux version 3.4.39 (allwinner@steven) (gcc version 4.6.3 20120201 (prerelease) (crosstool-NG linaro-1.13.1-2012.02-20120222 - Linaro GCC 2012.02) ) #22 SMP PREEMPT Sun May 3 11:15:34 HKT 2015
[   38.094064]

Left it there about 5 minutes. It never Restarted so I unplug the power and back in and this time it came to the command prompt fast. Did a passwd and changed it then started apt-get update and then apt-get upgrade and it has lots of upgrades doing it now.

Looks like this will work good. Been waiting a long time for this. When I order it had to wait all most 2 months then waited I guess for 6 weeks for this server code.

Thank you.
