Clicking sound from analog audio output on Orange Pi Mini

Hi folks,

I've noticed a clicking noise from the analog output when booting my Orange Pi Mini (tested with bananian 15.01 and berryboot 1.0). It starts during the boot process and repeats indefinitely with an interval of aprox. 1s.

Anyone else have seen this? Any fixes/workarounds?

I have booted my orange pi with headphones connected but I hear no clicking sound.
Perhaps check it again after isolating your pi from background noise (don't put it near a computer or other electronics stuff (including your cell phone).
You can also try to put it in a metal box or maybe even wrap aluminium foil around it (but be very careful that no metal of the board makes contact with box or foil, or you might cause a short-circuit and completely destroy your pi!

Bananian 15.04 can support orange pi.

Just to confirm I'm witnessing the exact same tick noise on a (almost) brand new Orange Pi Mini. I'm trying to rule out the switching power supply that shipped with the board.

maybe you use not a regular phone but a garniture. your phone's connector has 4 contacts? not 3, right?
the opi2's 4-th contact is connected to AV-video output. this is a source of your noise.
just use a connector with 3 contacts.
