Hello,

Is it possible to use the Remote Desktop Connection tool from Windows to connect to an Orange Pi 5 Plus?

I am able to use the Remote Desktop Connection tool from Windows to connect to xrdp on Raspberry Pi 4 and 5 (both running raspbian).

But I am unable to use it to connect to xrdp on Orange Pi 5 Plus.

I have tried the Debian image and the Ubuntu image (I also tried the Armbian image but Armbian does not start on Orange Pi 5 Plus) and I couldn't make it work.

I also made attempts to use VNC instead of xrdp but these attemps failed too.

Some help would be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Thomas

Remote Desktop Connection enables users to access a computer or device from a remote location. This technology facilitates efficient collaboration, troubleshooting, and data access. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, its significance skyrocketed as remote work became the norm.
